missingWrote a review on Dec 15unique horse riding experiencedisappointing dining options
The hotel's proximity to the Lipica Stud Farm allowed for a unique experience of riding beautiful dressage horses right at the doorstep, which I truly cherished.
The half-board dining options were disappointing, with the dinner lacking flavor and variety, making it clear that dining out in nearby Trieste would be a better choice.

missingWrote a review on Dec 01nice designpicturesque locationsmall rooms
The design of the rooms and communal areas is nice, and the location is quite picturesque if you have a car to get around.
Rooms are the size of shoeboxes with concrete floors—definitely not cozy, and the view is more like staring into another block of flats than a scenic retreat. The bathroom setups in the rooms are bizarre, as they're practically in the hallway, and there's no minibar for drinks. You might have a hard time falling asleep with the noise from nearby groups of kids. They seem to have issues with the drainage, making it an unwelcome experience to leave the balcony door open. Dining options are sparse, with the half-board menu a total letdown compared to expectations, so consider eating out.

The breakfast options were plentiful, but
there was little variation each day. The hotel itself is beautifully designed with modern touches and offers access to walking paths in scenic surroundings. Staff were helpful and ensured cleanliness throughout the stay.

Great balcony views complement the comfy beds in a well-designed room. Breakfast was satisfying, but the lack of on-site amenities during my stay was disappointing. The restaurant offered limited variety as most cafes were closed, affecting the overall dining experience. Make sure to have a car for easier access, as public transit can be unreliable.

Maestoso, Lipica impresses with its unique steam punk concept and beautiful natural surroundings. The large rooms come with balconies that offer stunning views, and the breakfast, while limited in options, is still solid. The staff's helpfulness throughout my stay enhanced the overall experience, adding to the value for money in this picturesque area surrounded by horse farms.
Room cleaning was missed on the first morning.
